1. Powering on your Motorola 2-way radio
Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob clockwise to turn on the radio.
2. Choosing an operating channel
Press the Up and down keys to choose the desired operating channel.
3. Volume control
Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob clockwise to turn on the radio
4. Push to talk, Release to listen
To transmit (talk), press and hold in the PTT switch. Speak into the microphone area of the front panel grille in a normal voice level. To return to the receive (listen) mode, release the PTT switch.
5. Charging the Radios
DO NOT overcharge the radio!
Overcharging causes battery damage!
A fully-discharged battery pack will charge completely in 1.5-4.5 hours.
Do not leave the battery on the charger for extended periods of time.
